Sharp Auto Parts LLC is an independant auto parts recycling business in Stillwater, MN. We are professional, agile, rewarding and our goal is to provide quality recycled auto parts on time and for good value. We are a Team PRP partner. We are members of the national United Recycler's Group and Automotive Recycler's Association, and also of the Automotive Recyclers of Minnestoa and the Concerned Auto Recyclers of Wisconsin. We are linked to regional and national recycler-to-recyler trucking networks for both buying and selling. We delivery daily throughout the Twin Cities metro area and through our 2nd facility located in Green Bay, WI we also delivery daily to Green Bay, Milwaukee, and all of eastern Wisconsin. We ship nationwide.

Sharp Auto Parts is looking for an onsite salesperson to sell used auto parts. Full time position with benefits, 8am-5pm Mon-Fri, no evenings or weekends, commission based pay. No cap on commission the more you sell the more you make. We primarily sell over the phone B2B to body shops, service garages, and new/used car delares but about 10% of our sales are direct to retail individuals.

General Summary:

Sells automobile and truck parts. Primarily selling used parts, but also selling new aftermarket and rebuilt products. Performs related duties as required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Sells parts to wholesales customers over the phone, computer locating service, parts hot lines, e-mail, and internet messenger.· Sells parts to retail customers over the phone and to walk-in customers.

· Sells parts to retail customers over the phone and in-person.

· Quotes parts to insurance adjusters working on estimates

· Provides customer service.

· Makes follow up calls on quotes and sales.

· Upsells extended warranties on parts and labor.

· Properly processes orders for parts, coordinating pick up times, delivery, and shipping arrangements.

· Responds to customers regarding adjustments to or problems with orders.

· Locates and orders brokered parts for sale, invoices parts sold.

· Handles customer complaints and warranty claims, properly credits parts or issues refunds.

· Maintains computerized inventory for parts sold or work ordered.

· Keeps work station and customer area clean.

· Attends sales meeting and training seminars when scheduled.

· Performs related duties as required.

Skills and Abilities Required:

· Automotive knowledge.

· Familiarity with Pinnacle Auto Recycler’s Trading System, PowerLink Yard Management System, CheckMate Yard Management System, and/or Hollander Interchange, are beneficial but not required.

· Good oral and written communication skills, telephone and voice mail etiquette.

· Organizational skills. Ability to keep track of orders. Note taking and follow-up skills.

· Computer and internet skills. Email, Instant Messaging, Microsoft.

· Neatness in appearance and work habits, projecting professional image.

· Understanding of the interrelationships of the parts, insurance, and collision repair shop industries.

· Quick thinking, honesty, integrity, ability to handle pressure and stress on the job.

· Motivation to achieve high sales results.

Hours: 40 hours per week or more

Education: High School Diploma. Additional school and/or sales experience a plus.

Experience: Automotive mechanical work, body shop work, auto insurance claims work, parts sales, vehicle sales, and other sales will be considered. Familiarity with automotive claims industry estimate software including CCC Pathways or Mitchell is beneficial. Familiarity with Collision repair procedures and processes are beneficial.
